What a great season we have had! We had more than 4 organised groups with from 8 to 30 persons. We organised all the transport, accommodation and 4/5 walks. We divided our big groups into two in order to enjoy the walks and surroundings more. We would like to thank everyone who has visited La Gomera this season. Our season finished earlier this year due to the CoronaVirus. All tourists were evacuated out of La Gomera towards the end of March. We were not allowed to walk or leave our homes for seven weeks up to the beginning of May. Now we are allowed to leave our homes and go out but each age group has a different time in which to do this. Our children will return to school in September. During our Lockdown period, there were 10 people affected by the virus and for the past 3 weeks, the island has been completely clear. The people of La Gomera worked together sticking to the rules and regulations to prevent the virus from spreading.
La Gomera depends on YOU....tourism. Even though we are now allowed to open our doors and resume our daily activities it will be a slow process back to normality. The self-catering apartments in Playa Santiago reopen at the beginning of July and the Hotel Jardín Tecina will open on August 1.
Good news! For clients who couldn’t visit us this season, our new season opens in 6 months. Details of the new Gomera Walking season for 2020-2021 are now available on our website and we are taking bookings and there are bookings coming in. Next season there will be 14 weeks to choose from.
If you are visiting La Gomera in a period out of our season we can offer individual day walks or if you are a group of 4 or more we can offer you a similar package to our scheduled weeks.
Groups of 12 can have a discount of 10% on our Premium Package.
Many of you already know that our holidays run from Wednesday to Wednesday. In order to connect with our exclusive transfers your flight into Tenerife South airport should arrive before 12.30 PM. If you aren’t able to do this then you have two alternatives:
1. Arrive the day before and stay overnight in Tenerife where we can offer you a very good deal with Diamond Resorts...€80 each couple for a spacious well fitted self-catering apartment. We can pick you up from there on the Wednesday and you can then join the remainder of the group for your onward journey to La Gomera.
2. Arrive on the Wednesday and take the later ferry. An extra charge of €50 per couple will be charged.
